Machining process needs coolant for smooth operation. Hydraulic, Lubricating or Coolant Oil are useful for this cooling purpose, which are circulated during machining process. Through circulation, these coolant oil is contaminated with material particles, which should be filtered.
Contamination of Oil interferes with the four functions of hydraulic fluids:
- 1. To act as an energy transmission medium.
- 2. To lubricate internal moving parts of components.
- 3. To act as a heat transfer medium.
- 4. To seal clearances between moving parts.

- Required fitment through available filter housing
- Other application factors, i.e. property of application fluid, operating parameters
- Type of contamination, i.e. suspended solid load, oil particles, water particles
Application fluid with medium quantity of available suspended solid load within and coarser to fine filtration requirement, i.e. 200 Micron to 1 micron, till finest filtration of 0.01 micron also.
